Here is a high-level overview of my current lab…

  • Primary rig - personal lab VMs for CE & CTFs, gaming, audio/video recording, streaming, web browsing
  • Secondary system - management: networks, CCTV, etc.
  • Server1 - Work lab virtualization (I’ll make another post with these details)
  • Server2 - NAS
  • Server3 - SIEM
  • Cracking rig v1
  • Darkweb system (isolated), secondary ISP

Multiple networks, VLANs etc. for segmentation (physical and virtual). It has been fun building out the topology in visio =]

Currently all of the servers are towers along with the workstations :( I’m planning to move to a mini rack in the future to save some space.

All network devices, workstations, and servers are connected to UPS
